About the Role

Agents Only Technologies is seeking detail-oriented French Audio Annotators to support audio, language, and data operations projects. This role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and categorizing audio content while maintaining quality, accuracy, and consistency across project deliverables.

You will work with speech recordings, music, sound effects, and environmental audio while applying project-specific guidelines to identify, classify, and evaluate audio elements. The ideal candidate has strong listening skills, attention to detail, and a background in audio, music, or sound-related disciplines.

Responsibilities

Audio Review and Annotation

Review and analyze speech, music, sound effects, and environmental audio recordings.

Create accurate annotations according to project guidelines and established workflows.

Categorize audio events, sound elements, and music-related content based on defined criteria.

Transcribe and evaluate audio content when required.

Identify and document audio quality issues, including background noise, distortion, clipping, hum, and other anomalies.

Escalate unclear or complex cases when appropriate.

Quality and Process Compliance

Follow detailed instructions and annotation standards.

Perform quality checks and validation prior to submission.

Maintain consistency and accuracy across assigned tasks.

Meet established productivity and quality expectations.

Identify recurring issues and communicate findings appropriately.

Contribute to maintaining reliable and high-quality project outputs.

Qualifications

Required

Native or professional-level proficiency in French.

Basic English reading comprehension and communication skills.

Background, education, training, or experience in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, Audio Editing, Music Production, Media Production, or a related field.

Strong listening, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.

Ability to follow structured instructions and project guidelines.

Reliable internet connection and access to a computer.

Preferred

Experience in audio annotation, transcription, content review, quality assurance, or related work.

Familiarity with audio editing software, digital audio workstations (DAWs), or audio analysis tools.

Experience evaluating audio quality and identifying technical audio issues.

Previous experience working in remote or project-based environments.
